Pumping Tracker: Ounce (“the app”, “Ounce”, “we”) is published by Gameplay Labs LLC. The app has no account, no login, no server of our own, and no ads. This policy explains how data is handled.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our own servers. Your pumping sessions (times, durations, amounts, and sides), frozen milk bags (dates, amounts, and labels), baby and nursing-period details, reminders, and notes are stored on your device, and we never receive them.
If you use your device’s own backup (such as iCloud Backup or Google backup), your records may be included in that backup. Device backups are controlled by you and by Apple or Google; we do not receive or access them. CSV files you export are created on your device and shared only by you, through your device’s own share or file features. The limited app-usage data processed by Google for analytics is described below.
The records you keep in Ounce may relate to your health. We do not collect, share, or sell consumer health data: your records stay on your device, and our analytics never includes the amounts, times, durations, milk bag details, baby details, or notes you enter, nor when or how often you pump. If we ever need to collect health information in the future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy before doing so.
The app shows no ads and contains no advertising software. We do not collect your device’s advertising identifier and do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used (for example, which screens are opened, how often the app is launched, and steps on the Ounce Pro purchase screen) and to improve the app. Google processes this data on our behalf as our service provider, including app-interaction events (these never include your records, as described above), an app-instance identifier, coarse device information (such as device model and operating system version), and approximate region derived from IP address. This analytics data is not used for advertising, and ads personalization signals are disabled. You can turn analytics off at any time in the app’s settings with “Share anonymous usage statistics”. Analytics data is retained by Google for a limited period and then deleted. See the Google Privacy Policy for details.
The app offers an optional one-time purchase, Ounce Pro (a live pumping timer on your lock screen, advanced statistics, a days-remaining estimate for your milk stash, separate records for multiple children and nursing periods, donor milk records, and themes). Payment is processed entirely by Google Play or Apple’s App Store through your store account; we do not receive or store your name, payment card details, or billing address. The app only receives confirmation from the store that the purchase was completed, and your Ounce Pro status is stored on your device and checked with the store. Our analytics provider records that a purchase occurred (product and price, as reported by the store) as part of app-usage statistics; this is not linked to your identity. For how Google or Apple handles payment information, see the Google Privacy Policy or Apple’s privacy policy. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
Depending on where you live — including the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand — you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to processing. Because we operate no servers and hold no personal data about you, most requests can be answered immediately: the only data processed off your device is the app-usage data handled by our analytics provider (Google), as described above, which you can turn off at any time in the app’s settings. Information processed by Google may be transferred to and stored in the United States and other countries where Google operates. To exercise any right or raise a concern, contact privacy@gameplaylabs.org, and please include the app’s name (“Pumping Tracker: Ounce”) in the subject line so we can identify your request — we will acknowledge your message within 30 days and respond without undue delay. UK users may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Person in charge of personal information (Privacy Officer): privacy@gameplaylabs.org
Depending on where you live (for example, California or Washington), you may have the right to know, delete, or opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and additional rights regarding consumer health data. We do not sell personal information, do not share it for targeted advertising, and do not collect consumer health data (see “Health information” above). Because we do not collect or store personal information on our own servers, requests to know or delete generally concern the app-usage data processed by our analytics provider (Google) — see the Google Privacy Policy linked above. Questions: privacy@gameplaylabs.org.
The app is intended for users 16 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Because we store nothing on our side, you can export your records to CSV at any time from within the app, turn off analytics in the app’s settings, and clear all app data at any time by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling it (records in your device’s own backups are managed in your device settings).
